Are you also fond of taking pictures of your meal before you eat but doesn't know where to exactly post them? Well thank goodness Zomato is now here!

Zomato is a user-friendly website/app which aims to help us find the best restaurants nearby, see detailed restaurant info and thousands of scanned menus, and help us create our own food diary!

Zomato was founded out of a living room in New Delhi in July 2008. Now, Zomato has 750 people across 18 countries, representing 25 nationalities with over 313,700 restaurants listed, with more being added everyday.

As one of my favorite websites/apps as of the moment, I listed down my top three things I love about Zomato.

1. New Logo

A few months back, Zomato unveiled its new logo and rebranding. What I love most about its logo is its simplicity yet straightforward logo explanation - fork strategically connected to a heart which means love for food.

This logo transcends languages and cultures. It captures the story of millions of meals and experiences being shared with a vast global community of people. The story of “people and food”.

It signifies our connection with those who share our passion for food. People who love, and live, to eat. The ones who diligently chronicle their food experiences so that others are able to make better choices. Because people who love to eat are always the best people. -  Founder & CEO Deepinder Goyal.

2. Website/App

Together with Zomato's new logo, I am also attracted to its clean website and app. Its simplicity, consistent data, structured restaurant information are all user-friendly that I, as an everyday user, definitely love.

3. People

I still remember the very first time I stumbled upon Zomato's website. My boyfriend and I wanted to eat at Vikings MOA for his birthday and I googled for reviews for the place. As I scrolled down, I saw Zomato's name and immediately clicked on it. I was impressed with the overall look and feel of the website so I immediately signed up and started scrutinizing the place.

After my first review, I immediately received a warm welcome message from Anton Ojeda, ZomatoPH Country Manager. At first, I thought it's just a joke, but yeah. It's real! Haha. I felt really welcomed and at home.

He then introduced me to Elaine Taningco, ZomatoPH Community Manager. This pretty woman invited me for a lunch date on a nearby restaurant and introduced interesting facts about Zomato; its colorful history, fast growing present, and promising future. She is very enthusiastic about her job and her love for Zomato is just so clear.

I have also met other Zomans on my very first foodie meet up at Zhu Kitchen. I can say that they are really very approachable, enthusiastic, and happy people. They have this energy towards their job which is clearly seen by their attitude towards us.

I can say that Zomato really knows how to choose their employees as I feel that they have one thing in common: passion for their respective job.

Oh! One thing I love here at Zomato as well is its widget that we can embed on our posts and websites! Check out mine below!

As Founder & CEO Deepinder Goyal said, "Our world has been, and will continue to be, built around conversations over great meals. History, whenever written, has always begun with a toast, followed by a feast."

It's that time of the year again!

Can you now feel that cold rush of wind on your skin? Those cute little boys and girls singing Christmas Carols everywhere? And of course, who cannot notice those gigantic Christmas Tree in each and every city in the metro together with all the dashing Christmas lights and decors?

People are busy doing there shopping and grocery lists, buying toys and all for their 'inaanaks', searching for the cheapest hotel for their out-of-town vacation, and have you noticed the traffic too? It's getting worse every Christmas season. Why? Because people are just so busy for Christmas is getting nearer and nearer.

And this is all because we all want to have that perfect 'feel' of Christmas. Of course we want to feel the Christmas spirit. We want our family to have the merriest Christmas of all.

But what really is Christmas to you? To us?

1. Christmas is a reminder to all of us that God has given up His own Son for our sins.

2. Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

3. Christmas is a reminder for hope, peace, and love which Jesus Christ gave to us.

This Christmas season, how about being a blessing to others? Maybe you have an extra money for a notebook and pen for the kid you saw on the corner of your street, or maybe you have some old toys that you might want to donate to some charitable institutions, or how about a surprise visit to an old friend or a distant relatives?

We can always be that 'Santa Claus' we are sometimes hoping for. For SM Supermalls, for just Php200.00, you get to have two bears -- one for you, and the other, to a child from an orphanage.

See the smiles and happiness of the children on the poster below? We can also be one of the channels to give more of these. Head on to your nearest SM Supermalls and let's give #SMBearsofJoy for a #MerrySMChristmas!

Also, we are happy to announce how MerrySMChristmas begins! Watch full video below as SM and Team Kramer collaborates for a Merry SM Christmas!

May we all have a #MerrySMChristmas!

Philippine Science Centrum (PSC) is a premier hands-on science center museum in the country recognized by the Department of Education, Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Tourism as an ideal venue for educational field trip destination where visitors are encouraged to touch, twist, play, hear, see the interactive exhibits displayed. PSC is open to pre-school to college students, families and the general public.

As the team says, Science is fun! Here at PSC, there is just so much to see, touch, and smell! Watch as your hair goes up in the air, go inside a distorted house, pop-out your head in a platter of fruits, and many exciting interactive exhibits!

Philippine Science Centrum is located at E-Com Building in Riverbanks Center, Barangka, Marikina City. This 2,500 sq meters facility can comfortably accommodate 3,000 visitors in a day or 500 visitors in any given time slot.

Last December 6, 2014, I, together with my fellow bloggers, experienced all the thrills here at the Philippine Science Centrum. And because it was my very first time to be in this science-filled museum (plus I'm with my blogger friends and met new people), I really had so much fun!

Here are the Top 6 exhibits I love the most here at the Philippine Science Centrum:

1. Human Gyro Ride

The ride is made up of a frame with two posts between which the outer ring is suspended. This outer ring will rotate forward or backward. A middle ring is attached so that its axis is from top to bottom of the outer ring. The axis of rotation is vertical. A third ring – the inner ring is attached to the middle with bearings on the left and right. The belt support, the feet hold where you stand is at the inner ring. During the ride, you will find yourself rotating about the axis of the inner ring, then the outer ring is rotated, eventually you will not only be spinning head over heels, but also spinning around and around as well!

This interactive exhibit is based on the machine developed by NASA in the 1960′s for use in the training program of the Apollo and Gemini Astronauts. This enabled the astronauts to become comfortable with the simulated experience of weightlessness and the roll and tumble inside their space craft.

We were asked who wants to try this exhibit and because I thought this will make me dizzy, I didn't waived my hand up high though I really want to try! But -- I learned afterwards that riders do not experience motion sickness because of the changing direction of the spin, which keeps the inner ear balanced. How cool is that?

2. Finger Tingler

This is the first exhibit we had for the team. The museum assistants requested us to form a circle while holding hands. He then rotated the crank, which means electricity is  produced as indicated by the voltmeter needle. And afterwards, we experienced a tingling feeling or mild electric shock in our fingers! This indicates that electricity flows though our fingers as in a closed circuit.

We just had so much fun that we want to have a second try!

3. Magic Faucet

(c) Philippine Science Centrum
I really had fun while watching and examining this giant magic faucet! This faucet figure is supported by a clear acrylic tube on its spout.  Since both water and the acrylic tube are transparent materials with very close indices of refraction, there is little change in the speed of light that passes through them. There is little reflection and refraction of light and thus, the acrylic tube blends into the water flow. This makes the faucet appear to float in midair. The turbulence of the falling water further hides the acrylic tube and enhances the optical illusion.

This really makes me 'Wow' every single time I visit this place.

4. Distorted Room

This two cute fellows somewhat have the same height. But here, one looks much taller than the other. Why is that?

Since our brain is accustomed to seeing rectangular rooms, we tend to perceive the distorted room as rectangular. The shape of the walls of the distorted room is constructed to make them appear the same as a rectangular room when viewed from the same spot.

This distorted room is also called Ames room, named after Adelbert, Ames Jr., an AMerican scientist who became known for studying and experimenting on illusions involving size and distance judgement.

5. Anti Gravity Mirror

The human body exhibits bilateral symmetry. This means that only one plane, called the sagittal plane, divides the body into roughly mirror image halves (external appearance only). The two halves can be referred to as the right and left halves. The right half is similar to the left half in size, shape and parts.

To an observer the reflection of the exposed half (left side) on the mirror appears to be the right half of the body, so the person looks whole. The lifted leg is also reflected by the mirror. This is why the person appears to be suspended in air and not pulled down by gravity.

6. Wonder House

When we walked into the house, we saw that the floor is horizontal and the walls are perpendicular to it. Based on experience, we know that we can stand upright. However, we have the difficulty because our body tilts.

The sense of balance explains this contradiction between what you see and what you actually experience. We really had fun in this wonder house; but this made me so dizzy but amazed at the same time.

So these are just some of the exhibits you can try here at the Philippine Science Centrum. For more information, you may check them out here. Below are some faqs for Philippine Science Centrum.

Success of  Singapore partnership paves the way for a similar campaign in Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines

PHILIPPINES, 3 December 2014 – Easy Taxi and WeChat users can now use the popular social communications app to book their Easy Taxi rides in Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, as both companies build on the success of the Singapore pilot programme launched last July.

“We are happy to renew our partnership with WeChat, benefitting our users in Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. The move further supports our regional footprint, and the synergies between both apps will allow for a greater mobility among smartphone users in our partner cities,” said Daniel Torres, CEO of Easy Taxi Philippines. He explained how the partnership is beneficial to both brands, as offering a taxi booking functionality abroad enables WeChat to be part of one of the world’s most disruptive technologies among startups. On the other hand, Easy Taxi expands its reach across millions of WeChat users.

“The response we have had in Singapore was quite overwhelming, and we wanted to offer the same privilege to our users outside of the island-nation,” added Poshu Yeung, Vice President of International Business Group at Tencent, the company behind the WeChat app.  He added that this is another great example of how WeChat, the fastest growing social communications app worldwide, successfully set up strong alliances with local market leaders in providing users with a unique and convenient experience.

Similar to Singapore, new users can easily download the WeChat app to Android, iOS, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone devices. For existing users, they need to follow Easy Taxi’s official WeChat account EasyTaxi_PH to be able to use the taxi booking function.

Just follow Easy Taxi’s Official account ( EasyTaxi_PH) and book a ride with us for a chance to win a FREE ride with the WeChat Cab.

The announcement is expected to boost taxi bookings in the three countries, as passengers can look forward to exciting deals and promotions only for WeChat and Easy Taxi users.  In the Philippines, WeChat and Easy Taxi have a special promo car. Users can book Easy Taxi through the WeChat app and get a chance to win a free ride.

Apart from Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, plans are underway to launch the partnership in countries where both apps are available.

Manila – Started out as an idea to create shirts for bookworms, The Dream Shirt has finally marked its 2.5K likers after a year of operating online. With more and more fangirls and fanboys finding out about the online shop, The Dream Shirt is planning to have its relaunch come 2015, which includes creating a line for locally published books, releasing more collections, and a collaboration giveaway with Fandom Trinkets PH.

The Dream Shirt is an online shop that offers made-to-order shirts, with prints that features quotes and designs based on different books. Each design is printed on a cotton shirt in vinyl or via heat transfer. As of today, most of their selections are
based from Young Adult novels like John Green's 'Looking for Alaska' and 'Fault in our Stars'. They also print designs based on the popular dystopian novels such as the infamous Hunger Games trilogy and Divergent.

Although their current fan base is consisted of young people and fanatics of YA masterpieces,

The Dream Shirt is planning to target a larger market, tapping in the bookworm crowd in general by providing designs that are based on the classics, fiction novels, and the like. The designs are slated to be released early next year, along with their official relaunch.

Unlike most of its competitors, The Dream Shirt aims to stick to creation of book-based shirts, and expand its designs by having its own artistic team that will put their ideas into reality. They are also aiming to be more present offline by participating in bazaars and other book related activity. Their website is also in the
works, aiming to provide a better experience for their customers.
